WHY YOU SHOULD SUPPORT US?

Henry de Lotbinière, one of our colleagues in Chambers, has had cancer of the face for the last 14 years. He has had no fewer than 16 operations performed by Iain Hutchison, Founder and Research Director of FSRF – SAVING FACES. Henry has been able to resume his place in Chambers and to continue to appear in Court through Iain’s special skills which have also assisted countless others from all over the world to return to normal lives and which are enhanced by the advances made by SAVING FACES. The face is our most important feature; particularly so for advocates.

2tg300 is the response by Henry’s colleagues, both in tribute to the great fortitude with which he continues to carry on with unquenchable spirit, and in recognition of the invaluable but under resourced work of Iain Hutchison and SAVING FACES. By a series of physical endurance events which will take about 25 barristers to their physical limits, it is hoped to raise funds for SAVING FACES. Some will walk about 80 km, others, including Iain Hutchison, himself, will cycle about 128 km, a few will canoe about 50km, the rest will run 42km in a marathon: an aggregate distance for the 4 elements of 300 km - thus 2tg300.
